Cityview Setup Team

Grandview is one church with two campuses. The Cityview campus rents The Gallery above Southern Craft BBQ in downtown Johnson City. Because we rent the space, we need to setup the room for worship every Sunday, and put away all of our equipment when we’re finished. We need lots of help to make that happen!

Small groups, what we call Canopies, are primary way Grandview people connect with one another. If you’re willing to lead a group in regular Bible study, prayer, or any other community-building gathering, we need you!

If your gifts are more administrative or visionary in nature, or if you just prefer behind-the-scenes work, consider serving on one of our ministry teams. These teams handle everything from designing holiday worship services, to organizing new small groups, to keeping the grounds clean and beautiful, to finding ways to encourage missions and missionaries Grandview supports.

Children’s Ministry Volunteer

randview offers a wide range of programming for children and youth to help them grow in their love of God, fulfill their calling to follow Jesus by serving in ways that are appropriate for their age, and connect with each other and with adults in the church. That can’t happen with a lot of volunteer help! We’re always looking for teachers, classroom assistants, and people who just want to hang out with our kids and youth.

Visiting a new church can be confusing and anxiety-inducing. That’s why we have a team of volunteers, the Connections Team, dedicated to greeting newcomers and helping them navigate our facilities. Connections Team members help others find friends, service opportunities, and small groups.
