Serve1 is the name we give to the ministries and teams that function primarily within the body. These are the teams that do the work of the church, often behind the scenes. You don't have to be a member of Grandview to serve on these teams, you just have to want to serve one another.

For more information about how you can serve with any of these teams, contact our associate minister, Brandon Waite. Or, if you’re not sure where to serve, let us help you find your fit.

The Discipleship Team combines Grandview's Sunday School classes and weekly groups into a ministry focused on growing believers into mature disciples. The Disciple Team's goal is to have all members and guests at Grandview involved in a  group where they can enjoy learning and living in a community.

The JCServe Team facilitates the use of resources (both financial and volunteer) toward personal, economical, spiritual, and social development of people in our community in order to proclaim the gospel in word and deed.

Financial Stewardship

All that we have--what we give in the offering and what we use for other purposes--belongs to God and should be used in the most effective ways possible to give glory to God. The Financial Stewardship Team focuses on keeping that message and practice alive in the church.

The Missions Team educates, promotes, and involves members of the congregation in the mission of the church locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Partnership Fund

The Partnership Team expresses the love of Christ to members and regular attenders of Grandview who are experiencing financial emergencies.

Property Team

The Property Team provides useful, safe, comfortable, and pleasant space for the congregation to worship God and to nurture and serve others.

Staff Relations

The Staff Relations Team serves the congregation of Grandview by encouraging, empowering, and nurturing the staff.

The mission of the Worship Team is to plan the worship services, including Sunday morning services and all of the seasonal services that are a part of the Christian year (especially around Christmas and Easter).

The Connections Team provides gracious hospitality and a welcoming environment for people who attend worship gatherings. This team helps guests make connections that can last beyond their first visit.
