LoveJC United is a new way to serve the people of Johnson City alongside members of area churches from a variety of denominational backgrounds. The plan is simple:  On the morning of Saturday, Oct. 21, people from Grandview Christian Church, First United Methodist, Antioch Church, and the International Christian Assembly will gather together for breakfast and a time of prayer, then we will disperse to different service project sites throughout the community.

We will work together with ministry partners supported by all of the churches involved, as well as other area ministries and places of need, to spread the good news of God's Kingdom through service and action--together. This is a great opportunity, not only to get involved with ministries Grandview supports and to get to know others within our own congregation, but to foster unity and cooperation with other area churches while showing the love of Jesus to the folks of Johnson City.

Click here to view our LoveJC United brochure, which contains specific information about all of the event projects. Please note that projects marked "YF" are youth-friendly (middle school and older), and "CF" designates child-friendly events (first grade and older--parents of elementary-age kids must be present)--this way you can serve with at one of our work sites with your whole family. Childcare will be available at the church that day for nursery through Kindergarten.

To register, turn in a completed brochure to the church office or the JCServe desk in the upper foyer by Sept 17. You can pick up brochures at the church, or print your own via the link above. You can also use the brochure linked above to pick a project, and then click here to sign up online.
